Actually, neither. He's named in honor of Hob Gadling...a character much loved (by me) from Neil Gaiman's The Sandman.

The Cliff notes version of the character. He doesn't die. He chooses not to. It's quite wonderful that way.

Hee..Del...she's a trip. Literally...Have you read all 10? And Endless Nights? I'd love to take Death on a roadtrip, which is a a bit odd to say aloud but still very cool. And Barnabas. I love him. He and Matthew give sarcastic a whole new level...

Also, the englishman very cool. I'm figuring he'll get here right around the first day of school, bonus!
